The Event Overall High Point Championship includes the following events: Parade, Compulsory, Free Style and Short Program.
Championship flags are awarded at closing ceremonies for EACH event as well as the Overall High Point. These flags are carried by the yearly champion and then released back to the Association at the beginning of the next annual competition.
In January 2006, a committee was formed with the goal of standardizing each event scoring criteria, making the score sheets more “user friendly” for judges, and increasing each scoring category to allow for more latitude in decision making. Our hope is this improved scoring criteria will eliminate tie scores within each judge’s placing.
